A videographer named Papacito published a video in which he shoots a gun at a mannequin, wearing a T-shirt with the words “I am a Communist” and a cap stamped with a hammer and a sickle. “It is unacceptable. This climate of violence is unbearable. Stop, I am a candidate for the presidency of the Republic for social peace, social justice. I seized Monday the public prosecutor, I will file a complaint. I hope that the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin will react ”, comments Tuesday, June 8 in the “4 Vérités” Fabien Roussel.

Fabien Roussel does not share the words of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the LFI presidential candidate, which caused controversy. The national secretary of the PCF “finds them particularly inappropriate and unnecessarily distressing ”.

Roussel fears piecework contracts

The Covid-19 crisis has changed the relationship to work. “I have the feeling that one year of the pandemic has done the work of 20 years of liberal politics. I fear that tomorrow will develop excessive teleworking without supervision, an uberization of society, I fear the development of individual task contracts, by the day or by the week while the CDI protects us and allows us to project ourselves into life”, says the Communist deputy from the North.

It is necessary, according to him, “Allow retirement at 60 for those who have contributed 37.5 years and that they can take advantage of their retirement years and that we can hire young people who are waiting to work, here is a progressive and fundable reform by taxing for example financial income ”. Another example of funding: “If we put gender pay equality in place, it brings in five billion euros to the State and it is a measure of justice and equality ”, assures Fabien Roussel, the boss of the PCF who concludes: “If Emmanuel Macron intends to put what he intended to do as president at the service of the rich and of capital, he risks continuing to fracture the country while I wish to repair it ”.
