Tired of working just in time, the lawyers are in their seventh week of mobilization against the pension reform, determined to show their discontent.
While the pension reform continues to be debated, lawyers are in their seventh week on strike. And the mobilization takes several forms: demonstrations, dead justice operations, postponed hearings … All means are good to slow down the proceedings in progress. Even if it means being several on the same file. A lawyer details: “Usually it’s a lawyer and five files. Today we have four lawyers, one file. And that’s how we can do our job properly. ”
The strike of zeal
Mobilized, the lawyers opted for a strike of zeal, determined to slow down the procedures, for a good cause: to deal with the cases with precision, and to give each client the defense they deserve. In this sense, a simple theft of a cell phone will be the subject of two hours of pleading, while a contempt of a police officer will last three hours. “This bar, which is threatened with disappearing, has decided to go out of its way a bit, and no longer accept this tense flow”, details lawyer Martin Pradel.
