Government fights thermal strainers

The government wants to put an end to thermal strainers. Energy renovation is a major ecological and economic issue. In fact, almost one in five homes in the country has a thermal strainer. Households in difficulty will be able to benefit from Ma Prime Renov assistance. This state system currently concerns low-income households.

Help calculated on the basis of several factors

Since January 2020, only 85,000 requests have been made by French households for 10,000 projects. Also, the State has decided to open the system in January 2021 to all landlords and co-owners, in addition to main residences. The aid will be assessed on the basis of household income, thermal performance and energy savings. 2 billion euros are devoted to the device. For their part, the craftsmen hope to be able to manage the increase in demand.
