Aid: the government will pay € 200 to precarious young people affected by confinement

800,000 precarious young people will benefit from aid of 200 euros. Edouard Philippe announced it on Monday May 4. “Half of them are students whose financial situation has deteriorated since the start of confinement. They no longer have access to university canteens and they have often lost the part-time job that allowed them to make ends meet ”, explains journalist Jean-Paul Chapel.

Four million low-income families receive aid of 150 euros

The other half affected by this aid are young people under 25 who are affected by APL. They will receive the 200 euros in June. In addition, four million low-income families will receive assistance announced in April. “This is aid of 150 euros per household plus 100 euros per child. As for families who receive housing assistance, they will also be entitled to a check for 100 euros per child ”, adds Jean-Paul Chapel.
